Privacy policy
Last updated October 14, 2026.
Dog Language (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is processed when you use this website. Review it with your legal advisor and adapt it to the analytics, advertising or email tools you add.
Information we collect
We do not require an account and do not ask for personal information to read our guides. Our hosting provider may log standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and performance.
Dog park finder and location
If you click “Near me”, your browser asks permission to share your approximate location. Your coordinates are sent directly from your browser to the OpenStreetMap Overpass API to find nearby dog parks. If you search by city or ZIP code, that text is sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim geocoding service. We do not store your location or searches. These services are operated by the OpenStreetMap Foundation and its partners under their own privacy policies.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising cookies. If we add analytics or advertising in future, we will update this policy and request consent where required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Contact us at hello@example.com.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
